After earning his medical degree at Marshall University of Medicine in Huntington, W. Va., Dr. Petersen completed his family practice residency at Eglin Hospital at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., and a fellowship in occupational medicine at John Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Md. He is board-certified with the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Preventive Medicine-Occupational Medicine.
