JOPLIN, Mo.—Freeman Health System is proud to announce the promotion of Jonathan Wallner to contracted care director. Wallner has been a member of the Freeman team for 16 years, having worked as a senior financial analyst, a financial analyst, and a clinical data analyst. In his new position, Wallner now serves as a liaison between the health system and insurance companies, as well as other payers of healthcare services.
Wallner earned a bachelor’s degree in information systems and a master’s degree in business administration from Pittsburg State University.
Ozark Center, an entity of Freeman Health System, has once again earned a three-year accreditation from Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). CARF International is an independent, nonprofit accrediting body. Its mission is to promote the quality, value and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process centered around enhancing the lives of the people served. Founded in 1966, CARF establishes consumer-focus standards to help organizations measure and improve the quality of their programs and standards.
The Missouri Department of Mental Health has identified Ozark Center, an entity of Freeman Health System, as one of three community behavioral health centers in southwest Missouri to collaborate on and implement a Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration System of Care expansion grant.
