Meet Dr. Zafuta

Dr. Michael Zafuta specializes in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. Dr. Zafuta is the official team orthopedic physician for Pittsburg State University. Dr. Zafuta received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, and the Knee and Shoulder Surgery and Sports Medicine Fellowship at Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colorado. Dr. Zafuta is board certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
