Same-Day Appointments
Freeman Health System Orthopedics & Sports Medicine now offers same-day appointments. Same-day appointment services for evaluation and treatment are open to individuals who have experienced an injury within the past two weeks and have not been seen previously by a primary care physician for this injury. The same-day appointment service is a great option if you recently experienced a non-life-threatening sports injury, sprain, joint injury, and/or strain. Services are appropriate for individuals ages five and older.
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
Friday, 8:30 am – 11:00 am

Same-Day Appointments Should Be Used For:
- Patients aged five and older
- New injuries having occurred within the past two weeks or less to the ankle, arm, elbow, foot, hand, hip, knee, leg, shoulder, or wrist, such as fractures, muscle strains, sports injuries, sprains, swollen joints, etc.
Do Not Use Same-Day Appointments for:
- Back or neck pain or injury
- Chronic pain lasting longer than two weeks
- Dislocations
- Facial injuries
- Head injuries or concussions
- Lacerations
- Multiple joint injuries
- Motor vehicle accidents/injuries
- Open wounds
