Freeman Health System Heart & Vascular Institute becomes the first in Missouri to successfully use bioabsorbable polymer drug-eluting stents that promote faster healing and reduce the risk of future heart complications.

Grand Marshals of Joplin Christmas Parade Announced
Freeman Health System is pleased to announce Kim Knight and Nancy Langley will serve as Grand Marshals of the 45th Annual Joplin Christmas Parade. Knight and Langley are the great-granddaughters of Freeman founder John W. Freeman.
The 45th Annual Joplin Christmas Parade, held December 1, featured the theme “The Music and Miracles of Christmas.” Crowds lined Main Street cheered as the parade made its way from 15th Street to Third Street.
Freeman Honors Organ Donation on Donate Life Rose Parade Float
On New Year’s Day 2016, the Donate Life Rose Parade Float titled “Treasure Life’s Journey” will include a dedication garden made of roses with handwritten dedications by hospital chief executive officers across the country.
