Two-phase remodel underway at Freeman Neosho

March 13, 2013

Freeman Neosho Hospital is receiving a $120,000 facelift.

JOPLIN, Mo.—Freeman Neosho Hospital is receiving a $120,000 facelift. The first phase of the project, which began on March 1 and is anticipated for completion within the same month, will provide an update to the main corridor of the first floor, including the installation of new flooring, the removal of wall covering, and the application of new paint. The second phase, scheduled to begin in April, will provide the same updates to 21 patient rooms and the second-floor corridor.

“This renovation will provide a more aesthetically pleasing environment for our patients and visitors. The patient care at Freeman Neosho Hospital has always been of the highest quality—now the interior décor of the building will exude the same,” said Renee Denton, Freeman Neosho Administrative Services Director.

No services will be interrupted during the renovation. Some work will be scheduled during evening hours to minimize any inconvenience to patients. Staff will assist with directing patients and visitors around construction areas.

“Once the project is completed, patients will be pleased to see upgraded flooring, new paint, and pleasing décor,” said Denton. “Our hope is that the new look will be as pleasing to our customers as the quality of care that we provide.”
