Freeman Cuts Ribbon on Webb City Neighborhood Care

Webb City, Mo. – Freeman Health System celebrated the opening of Webb City Neighborhood Care with a ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday, January 20. The new facility, located at 1636 S. Madison St. in Webb City, Mo., is home to Freeman Urgent Care, Freeman Primary Care and Freeman Outpatient Dialysis Center.

“Webb City Neighborhood Care is an important part of our commitment to provide quality, convenient care outside our main facilities,” said Paula F. Baker, Freeman President and Chief Executive Officer. “These doctors, nurses and staff members live where their patients live, and they shop, eat and play alongside their patients. By offering services in the communities where people live, we hope to develop a stronger connection with our patients.”

Webb City Neighborhood Care is the new home of Freeman Urgent Care. The walk-in clinic is staffed with highly-trained physicians, registered nurses and x-ray technicians who can provide treatment for minor illnesses and injuries that require prompt assistance without making an appointment.

Freeman also welcomes Dr. W. Heath Dillard to Freeman Primary care to improve access to primary care in the Webb City area. Conveniently located at Webb City Neighborhood Care, Dr. Dillard is board-certified in internal medicine and is currently accepting new patients.

Webb City Neighborhood Care is also home to Freeman Outpatient Dialysis Center, which will open at the end of January. The new center complements kidney treatment services in place at Freeman Hospital West and Freeman Hospital East. With highly-trained nephrologists, Freeman Outpatient Dialysis Center features 16 chairs with the ability to expand to 24. Heated seats, warm blankets and nutrition provide comfort to the patient while undergoing dialysis.
