Freeman Neosho Earns Excellence Through Insight Award

July 29, 2015

Freeman Neosho Hospital was recently recognized with an Excellence Through Insight award for Most Improved Emergency Department Experience in the Small Hospital category by HealthStream, Inc.

Neosho, Mo. – Freeman Neosho Hospital was recently recognized with an Excellence Through Insight award for Most Improved Emergency Department Experience in the Small Hospital category by HealthStream, Inc. HealthStream is an independent organization that surveys patients after they leave the hospital, then provides valuable insights into what patients think of their hospital experience, which hospital administrators and department managers can use to make improvements.

Freeman Neosho was awarded this honor for its commitment to excellence in patient care. To qualify for an award, a hospital must have been a patient-experience-tracking client of HealthStream in 2014 and scored in the 75th percentile or higher after a minimum of 100 patients were surveyed. Freeman Neosho was chosen for receiving the highest ratings in small hospital patient experience from among HealthStream’s clients, as well as exceeding industry standards.

“We’re honored to receive HealthStream’s Excellence Through Insight Award, and I could not be prouder of our Emergency Department staff,” said Renee Denton, Freeman Neosho Hospital Chief Operating Officer. “Through their hard work and commitment to patients, our team has shown that Freeman is ready and able to provide the best possible healthcare to the people of our community at those times when quality patient care is most critical.”

Robert A. Frist, Jr., HealthStream Chief Executive Officer, said, “We applaud the staff of Freeman Neosho Hospital for their high-level commitment to excellence in healthcare and are pleased to recognize their achievement though our presentation of an Excellence Through Insight award.”
