Webb City, Mo. – Dr. W. Heath Dillard, board-certified in internal medicine, recently joined Freeman Primary Care at Webb City Neighborhood Care. The new facility is part of Freeman Health System’s commitment to provide convenient access to quality healthcare.

“I think Freeman chose a great location for the clinic,” said Dr. Dillard. “Not only does this provide a convenient location for patients in Webb City, it also provides access to quality care to surrounding communities including Carthage, Carl Junction and north Joplin.”

Dr. Dillard received his education and training from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, San Antonio, Texas. He received additional training in the U.S. Navy as a general medical officer and battalion surgeon before completing his education at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Pennsylvania. Serving patients ages 14 years and up, Dr. Dillard worked a number of years in the Carthage and Joplin areas before joining Freeman Primary Care.

“I educate patients, but also hold them accountable for their own health,” said Dr. Dillard. “I want them to not only get the treatment they need, but understand why it’s needed.”

Freeman Primary Care is located in Webb City Neighborhood Care at 1636 S. Madison St. and is open 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday – Friday. Appointments can be made by calling 417.347.4967.
