Freeman Health System announces the addition of Dr. Swarna Gaddam at Freeman Kidney Center. Dr. Gaddam specializes in nephrology, which focuses on kidney care and kidney diseases.
After receiving her medical degree at Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences, India, Dr. Gaddam completed her internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship at State University of New York at Buffalo, Buffalo, New York.
“I chose nephrology because it’s not only challenging, it’s also rewarding,” said Dr. Gaddam. “Kidney patients typically undergo three to four hours of treatment, three times a week. You truly get to know the patients and make a connection to their personal lives.”
