I am originally from Wichita, Kansas. I attended medical school at Kansas City University in Joplin, Mo.. Early in my education, I discovered that I enjoyed talking to patients and guiding them through their healthcare journey. The relationship with patients and the continuity of care were aspects that drew me into the field of family medicine. During residency, I found gratification in having the opportunity to care for patients at their lowest point and help them regain control of their health. After residency, I plan to practice as a family medicine hospitalist.
