Kayla Wooldridge

• Areas of interest in Family Medicine: Preventative medicine, women's health, primary care medicine.
• Areas of interest outside medicine: In my free time, you can find me spending time with my husband and Golden Doodle on walks and adventures. I also love to crochet blankets, clothing, and wearables of all sizes.

I am originally from Denver, Colo., and moved to Joplin, Mo. to attend medical school and now residency. I chose Family Medicine because of the longstanding relationships that can be made with patients in the primary care setting. Within family medicine I am passionate about preventative health and women's health. After residency, I plan to practice as an outpatient primary care physician. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Goldendoodle, and we are soon to welcome a baby girl!
