Meet Dr. Zafuta

Dr. Michael Zafuta specializes in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine. Dr. Zafuta is the official team orthopaedic physician for Pittsburg State University. Dr. Zafuta received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, and the Knee and Shoulder Surgery and Sports Medicine Fellowship at Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colorado. Dr. Zafuta is board certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
