I was born in India and moved to the USA in 2000. I grew up in the suburbs near Chicago and loved playing sports growing up, becoming a JV tennis MVP in high school. I went to Wilkes University and majored in biology with a minor in chemistry. I attended medical school at Avalon University School of Medicine. My passion for medicine started with my love for science and the curiosity for learning about my family members' health problems as well as my own. I wanted to reach out to others in my community and try to teach them how to prevent and minimize illnesses, manage their current illnesses, and how to improve their quality of life. In my spare time I like to work out, play basketball, listen to music and be socially active with my friends.
